I live in fear, I live
in shame,
I live a life without
a name..
Dodging fortune’s
killing blows,
Running hard from
Hate’s flow..
But somewhere deep
within my mind,
There’s belief, faith
in mankind!
Narrow walls, violent
rage,
Stalk my steps at
every stage..
They’re cruel, they’re
giants,
They find new ways to
strangle my kind..
Yet somewhere deep
within my mind,
I have faith in
Mankind!
Sun still shines upon
our race,
Rains come pouring to
bring grace..
Winter’s chill does
not stay,
Summer’s breeze comes
to play..
So somewhere deep
within my mind,
I keep faith in
Mankind..!
